Life happens. Work, family, relationships - each of these can make us feel stressed
from time to time. Fortunately, hypnosis can help. Using hypnotic music and
suggestions created especially for you, your brain waves can be led into a relaxed
'alpha' state. This alone can leave you feeling relaxed for days. Some of our clients come in simply to unwind using the time to release clutter and chaos from their mind, body and spirit. One hour in the hypnotic state is often equated to eight hours of peaceful sleep. The client then leaves deeply relaxed yet feeling empowered about the days to come. As certified stress management consultants through the National Guild of Hypnotists, it‘s important that we teach clients self reliance, which is why we work together on techniques for self hypnosis, visualization and proper breathing with a variety of approaches for relief and control of lifetime stressors. We also work with anxious individuals who sometimes suffer from panic attacks by teaching them techniques to avoid the attack and practical strategies to overcome them should they occur. If you normally cope well with life, but want some support to deal with a stressful situation such as exams or public speaking, you may only need one or two sessions of hypnosis. Other programs may take longer and are dependant on the individual. If shyness, social phobia or low self esteem is your concern, it may take more time, although typically you would expect to see improvement after four to six sessions. |
